Statement

My practice is guided by a deep curiosity about life and the nature of existence. Working across media, materials, and contexts, I explore how meaning and perception emerge through form, language, and space. I aim to create works that are visually engaging and conceptually layered — pieces that invite immediate connection while offering deeper insight through contemplation and interaction.

Each project begins as a dialogue with its own context — its materials, scale, conceptual focus, and cultural or historical resonances. My process involves research, observation, and experimentation, through which I seek a unifying element capable of weaving together diverse ideas and aesthetics into a coherent whole. This approach allows the work to remain open and dynamic, balancing intuition with structure and inquiry with form.

Conceptually, my work examines the relationship between imagination and reality, abstraction and concreteness, language and meaning. I often assemble fragments or seemingly unrelated elements to reflect the complexity of thought and experience. Influenced by both Eastern and Western visual traditions, and shaped by my upbringing in Iran where art and life are deeply intertwined, my practice bridges diverse aesthetic and cultural sensibilities.

Ultimately, I strive to create art that combines intellectual depth with visual richness — work that invites reflection, dialogue, and connection. Curiosity, experimentation, and attention to context guide my process, resulting in works that are accessible yet multilayered, poetic yet grounded, and responsive to the world they inhabit.
