Introduction

Home » About » An introduction to my creative practice — exploring the ideas, materials, and cultural threads that inform my work.

Early Fascination
Like many children, I was drawn to art and craft from my earliest years. Though encouraged by my family, I never imagined becoming a full-time artist.

Between Two Worlds
I feel deeply fortunate to have lived within two artistic and cultural traditions. My work continues to navigate that intersection — a dialogue between form, meaning, and lived experience.

Art as Life
I see art as a way of living — not separate from daily experience, but woven into it. This sensibility comes from my upbringing in Iran, where art was inseparable from life itself.

A Shared Language
I believe in art that is democratic, open, and accessible — an art that speaks to anyone, anywhere, at any time.

Cultural Nuance
While I sometimes draw from familiar cultural symbols, I’m more interested in creating an expressive language that reflects nuance poetically rather than literally.

Common Ground
My work celebrates diversity while seeking unity. I value art that invites connection rather than exclusion — art that belongs to everyone.

A Space for Discovery
Through forms that hover between the representational and the abstract, I hope to offer viewers a portal into their own imaginal realm — where meaning and creativity unfold.

The Power of Imagination
Imagination is, for me, a gateway to understanding, creativity, and discovery. I strive to create images that awaken the viewer’s own inner world.
