Forever
Nickel, Candles; 77″W x22″D x14″H
This installation transforms the transient nature of candlelight into a meditation on time, language, and impermanence. The candles, arranged to spell the word FOREVER, burn slowly toward their own extinction—embodying the paradox of endurance through decay. As the flames consume the word that names perpetuity, the work reflects on the human desire to preserve what is inherently fleeting: meaning, memory, and life itself.
