Perfect Shadows

Silk Tulips; 117′ L x 35′ W

Perfect Shadows is a temporary public installation of silk tulips that invites viewers to ponder the subtle interplay between reality and perception. The work explores the questions: How much can we trust our senses to discern what is real? To what extent are shadows, reflections, or impressions as meaningful as the objects themselves? By presenting a delicate, oversized landscape of tulips in a public space, the installation encourages contemplation on the ephemeral, the illusory, and the fragile boundaries between appearance and truth.
