“Ship of Fools”; National and International newspapers, Wood; 20´W x 24´L x 4″H
In this installation, by presenting newspapers in the form of paper boats I wished to probe the basis of our belief and trust in the media as a “vessel” of truth. By creating a climate of idiocy and absurdity through humor, I hoped to catch the viewer off-guard; inspiring him/her to question the very validity and authenticity of the news.
